Construct Airport Electrical Distribution System

Electrical engineering for the expansion and reconfiguration of the 12kV electrical distribution system at the San Diego International Airport (SDIA). The project created four (4) 12kV loops connected to the 3-source main service switchgear. The expansion provided a redundant primary electrical distribution system and eliminated 19 utility electric meters. The project powered the new Rental Car Center and allowed for future large-scale self-generation.
