BSE provided mechanical and electrical design for the ED Radiology Room #2 medical equipment replacement. Included HVAC load calculations and air balancing to ensure that the airflows within the space met the required air change rates / pressurization of Table 4-A in the California Mechanical Code and the required heat loads of the replacement medical equipment. Electrical design included photometric calculations to ensure that the new lighting layouts and light fixtures were appropriate. The existing electrical distribution was also assessed for its adequacy for the replacement x-ray controller and imaging equipment within the suite and drawings showing the new lighting layout and power distribution were provided. BSE design allowed for the project to be constructed without disrupting the operation of adjacent hospital spaces.
